With a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics), a Diploma in Education, and more than 15 years' experience teaching in primary schools and tutoring students across all grades, Aliaa has a gift for finding exactly where a student is stuck — and making it click.
Her lessons are lively and engaging, not a quiet worksheet-and-wait — she asks questions, invites students to explain their thinking out loud, and adjusts on the spot the moment she sees a puzzled face. Every student gets her full, patient attention.

How long do your terms run?
Our programs run for exactly 10 weeks per term. Topics covered each week are set out in advance, so you always know what's coming up.
What grades and subjects do you teach?
Study Bee currently focuses on Math enrichment for Grade 4 and Grade 5 students, aligned with the Victorian Curriculum. Our Grade 3-9 pathway is expanding soon.
Does your program match what my child is learning at school?
Yes — our enrichment curriculum is strictly aligned with the Victorian Curriculum, so lessons reinforce what your child is learning for their grade level. Because schools structure their scope and sequence differently, the topic covered in a given week may differ slightly from your child's class — but we're always open to helping any of our students with whatever they're covering.
How do online classes work? Will my child stay engaged?
Our classes are live, highly interactive video sessions — not pre-recorded videos. We use digital whiteboards and worksheets, and keep class sizes small so every student gets seen and heard.
What technology does my child need to join?
Just a computer, laptop, or tablet with a stable internet connection and the Zoom app installed. We'll send your free lesson booklet and any other materials before class starts.
Do we need to buy or print any textbooks?
No — joining after your trial includes your own Study Bee Lesson Booklet with notes, practice exercises and worksheets, delivered to you free of charge (added when you sign up with us for the term).
What happens if my child misses a lesson?
If your child misses a session, we'll do our best to help them catch up before the next lesson — just get in touch and let us know.
Who are the teachers at Study Bee?
Our classes are designed and led by Aliaa, an experienced and highly qualified teacher with a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics), a Diploma in Education, and more than 15 years in the classroom.
